The Panhellenic Creed
We, the undergraduate members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, the fraternity women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
PHA COUNCIL OVERVIEW
The Panhellenic Council is the governing body of all 10 sororities at Cal Poly. Its purpose is to promote growth of individual chapter and the Greek community. Cal Poly Panhellenic succeeds with the unified spirit of its members through cooperation, leadership, and mutual concern. The Panhellenic Executive Board is a diverse group made up of women from the different sororities on campus.
PHA INITIATIVES
Panhellenic’s initiatives for the 2021 Academic Year include ongoing support for diversity and inclusion both in the Cal Poly Community and Fraternity and Sorority Life. Additionally, with their growing community, the Panhellenic Council works to ensure a seamless onboarding and integration of new organizations into their community.
Panhellenic has partnered with many campus partners including the MultiCultural Center, Safer, and the Center for Leadership in order to facilitate workshops and trainings for new members entering the Fraternity and Sorority community.
JUNIOR PANHELLENIC
Junior Panhellenic is comprised of sorority members that are in their first year of active membership. This board works alongside the Executive Board to oversee all Panhellenic sororities on the Cal Poly campus. Being a part of the Junior Panhellenic Board helps to increase future leadership and networking opportunities.
